Unified Sports®
AIA Unified Sports® offers 5 sports for the 2012-2013 School year:
Flag Football - Fall 2012
Practice starts in mid-September
Games (2 to 4) will be played in October
Golf (Only offered in Phoenix Union and Tucson Districts at this time)
Practice starts in mid-September
Matches start in mid-October (2 to 4)
Practice starts in mid-March
Meets (2 to 4) will be played in April 2013
Basketball Option #1
Winter 2013
Practice starts in late January 2013/early February 2013
Games (2 to 4) are recommended to be played in late February 2013
Spring 2013
Practice in mid-March
Games (2 to 4) will be played in April 2013
It is recommended to schedule games on same day as a Spring AIA game. (ex: before a softball or baseball game to ensure High School students will support with attendance)
Participate before, during, or halftime of High School games
AIA will allow teams to perform as an exhibition at Sectional and State Cheer competitions
